Ahab Joseph Nafal has filed a $5,000,000 lawsuit against Jay-Z and Timbaland for sampling “Khosara, Khosara”, on the song “Big Pimpin’”. He is also suing Roc-A-Fella Records, Def Jam, Warner Music Group; and Linkin Park over the use of “Big Pimpin’” in the “Big Pimpin’/Papercut” mashup on Collision Course. He says that Timbaland and Jay-Z did not have permission to sample the song and by doing so has infringed copyright laws and they have neglected to pay royalties on it.

You can read a bit more about it and view the papers filed on Allhiphop.com

Why is he just now suing them 8 years after collision course came out?

  • Amanda

Because he’s smart and they will have to pay more for all these years

Have you noticed that “Bob Bourdan” is written in the process? hahahahahah

It says in the article that hes tried to sue them before but it didn’t work out so hes just refiled the case.

And yeah I noticed Bob Bourdon XD I’m not sure if the papers are legit!
