“The Raid” Score/Soundtrack Update

Mike just posted this on his blog, stating that his score for The Raid is about 50 minutes+ and that anything with vocals would take away from the movie however, there are two songs that did end up having vocals. Although he did not sing or rap in said songs, he collaborated with some of his friends. ††† (Crosses) and Get Busy Committee. Seems like these two will be on the soundtrack of The Raid (apart from the score) since Mike mentioned Soundtrack in the title of his post.

The Raid is coming to theaters soon. Almost all of the music is instrumental–doing anything with vocals seemed to take away from the movie. I think it ended up being 50+ minutes of score.

But at the end of the film, I found room for two songs with vocals. I didn’t want to do sing or rap. I decided to call on some friends.
