As we previously reported before, the film Mall (directed by Linkin Park’s Joe Hahn) will feature music by Linkin Park, but now according to Variety, Linkin Park will be handling the soundtrack for the film (which will be executive produced by Bill Boyd and Rob Cavallo) and they also state that the soundtrack will fall under Linkin Park’s record deal with Warner. So from the looks of it, seems like this soundtrack won’t just feature a few songs by Linkin Park but more than just one, if not all.

Epic Pictures will be handling foreign sales at Cannes, and they’ll have an additional selling point as Linkin Park has agreed to handle the soundtrack for the violent film, which will be exec produced by Bill Boyd and Rob Cavallo, chairman of Warner Bros. Records. Cavallo is responsible for some of the bestselling soundtracks of all time, and the “Mall” soundtrack will fall under Linkin Park’s record deal with Warners.

Also, just to mention Chelsea Handler and Eric Bogosian won’t be featured in this film anymore and have been replaced by Gina Gershon (“Killer Joe”) and Peter Stormare (“Fargo”). Others that will be part of the film are: James Frecheville (“Animal Kingdom”), Cameron Monaghan (“Shameless”), Gbenga Akinnagbe (“The Wire”), India Menuez (“Something in the Air”) and Mimi Rogers (“Austin Powers”).

Also we keep forgetting to post this, here’s a picture with Sierra Blair-Coyle, a pro-rock climber, that ran into Chester Bennington a while back, she posted this on her tumblr.
