First of all, Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda and Dave ‘Phoenix’ Farrell were featured on a Japanese website (HMV Online), although the article was mostly about Linkin Park’s Meteora, there was a new picture of Mike and Phoenix and a message from both. The original article is in Japanese, which you can view HERE. Below is the translation we got from Hiro, thanks Hiro!
Mike: “When we release a new product or a new song, we hope that everybody is always excited. But I don’t know how the results will turn out. Everybody supports the new song and I want to convey my feelings of thanks into being excited like we personally are as a band. I want everybody to listen to the new songs already!”
Dave: “I’d like to thank all of our Japanese fans, I owe a deep debt of gratitude for all the support. I look forward to performing in Japan with our new work as soon as possible and as much as possible.”
Then, here are video concert announcements, basically hyping of the fans, nothing really new but worth a small mention, view the videos below, one is of Mike and Phoenix for Rock am Ring and Rock im Park and the other is Chester and Brandon for the Honda Civic Tour in Denver, CO:
