LPU Chat with Sean Paden (Brad's Guitar Tech) Summary

Sean Paden, Brad Delson’s longtime guitar tech, joined us for an LPU video chat today, while I was there I missed a lot of stuff because of the Germany vs Italy Euro Cup semi-finals match, massive thanks to Eva for helping us out here! They use DiMaggio strings 10s most of the time and a few 11s.
His work during a show day starts with loading and unloading all the stuff they need for night to making sure everything is set up
Guitar on LIVING THINGS – may not seem so apparent but listening and it’s there.
He grew up in Texas
He’s really close with Pooch
He considers each successful concert an achievement
He has studied art and not music but it has always been a huge part of his life
He’s been pranked a few times on tour
Life on tour is tough, basically you have to catch up on a lot of sleep
Brad feels better. For Jimmy Kimmel they had a lot of fun
Japan is one of his favorites places to go
He never went with Linkin Park to Mexico so he’s excited in going
Linkin Park are going back to Russia, don’t know when but they’ll definitely be there

He will be at the Summit in August
The Warriors (although might have been The Warrior) is one of his favorite films

He loves the Foo Fighters, Incubus, Led Zeppelin, Muse, and Iron Maiden.
He excited for Honda Civic Tour, if you can go definitely go. Don’t miss it!

He didn’t have an embarrassing stories of Brad at the moment, nor any tour stories he said he’ll try to get some next time
Dumbest TV show he watched was Three’s Company
He likes coffee (favorite) and snapple
His favorite tour was with POD, Hoobastank, and Story of the Year
Mike (can) did a guitar solo on Burning in the Skies, also said he said it’s probably his favorite on A Thousand Suns
