Mike and Paul just had a Twitter chat with fans, I’ve compiled Mike’s answers below for easy reading, you can read Pauls tweets HERE, regarding Linkin Park Paul said that he liked LIVING THINGS but his favourite album of theirs is Meteora, his favourite LP song is Breaking The Habit and he hopes to see them live soon.

Mike: Not yet, but it’s on my to-do list. #PvDLinkinPark


susyxthemsnger: Have you heard of Die Antwoord? Would you tour with them?
Mike: we played shows with @DieAntwoord on tour last year. They were incredible


GloomyMushroom: Whats the weirdest thing you have got from a fan?
Mike: -their baby. I gave it back though.

Mike: I’d love to be good at the drums. I play a little, but I’m terrible!

KhuloodJ: Would you be a judge in a TV singing show if you were offered to?
Mike: probably not!

Mike: yes.

Mike: always coming with the big questions!

Mike: they would be a “good live band.”

LeeSmosher: What’s your main role in linkin park? Pianist? Guitarist? Vocalist? What exactly ?
Mike: I’m probably most focused on songwriting & producing. I play piano better than guitar, & rap better than sing.


LeeSmosher: Do you watch Japanese Anime? If so, what’s your favorite?
Mike: my favorite anime films are Akira, Ghost In The Shell, and Princess Mononoke

Also, earlier today Mike started answering fans questions on Twitter as he got the time of the chat wrong, you can read his answers below, he revealed that the video for LOST IN THE ECHO will hopefully be released this month and LPU 12 cd will feature never heard before demos:

MaritinaLP: why do Linkin Park write their lyrics at the end and sign jiberish before? who decides the final lyrics.
Mike: A: We sketch songs with rough vocals that sometimes have no words, then slowly turn the made up words into real words.


JolonN3: When will the video for LOST IN THE ECHO come out?
Mike: The visual/video for LOST IN THE ECHO will be ready this month, we think.


chareli: Name a movie you would love to create music for!
Mike: I currently like what Netflix calls “Dark Independent” and “Mind Bending Thriller” David Fincher / Christopher Nolan, etc


TheForeverBored: are there any unreleased or never-heard tracks?
Mike: -we have some unreleased demos, and we usually give them to members of http://lpunderground.com. In fact, I’m currently putting together the next LPU album, with 10 never-before-heard @linkinpark demos


colinreid1989: could you include Instrumentals for all future singles?!
Mike: just yesterday, we talked about releasing accapellas and instrumentals for LIVING THINGS, actually.
