Radios Interviews with Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda [Audios]

Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda has been doing some radio interviews with US radio stations, while we posted two (an old and a new one) here are two more audio interviews, in the first one is by Hot 99.5, in this brief interview they talk about Linkin Park’s partnership with the United Nations and they talk about the Power the World campaign, while they continue according to Toby Knapp Linkin Park, before they start their tour, will be meeting with the United Nations at the White House. “The project we’ve got going in with the UN and the UN FOUNDATION is called POWER THE WORLD… The UN Secretary General brought to our attention that over a billion people – about a fifth of the planet – don’t have access to sustainable energy… you can imagine what ahorrible living situation that creates,” Shinoda told Knapp. “We want to give them a chance to experience sustainable energy.” he said.


Shinoda explained how the band has teamed with the UN to bring this energy to some of the most in-need areas of the world, from hospitals in Uganda to Haiti.


“Before the first show this week, we’re actually going to be meeting with the UN at the White House, and it’s actually going to be my first time in the building,” Shinoda added.



In the second one, Radio 104.5 talks to Mike Shinoda, Mike talks about Honda Civic Tour and they talk about the Olympics and talks about Gabby Douglas and Linkin Park’s invitation to the US Olympians.
