iHeartRadio have uploaded the second part of their interview with Linkin Park’s Chester Bennington, in this part he talks about why Linkin Park don’t like being called nu-metal (although he’s okay with being recognized as a nu-metal band but doesn’t particularly like it!) because they feel like they’re being put in a box, then he talks about why iHeartRadio festival is so appealing to them and why they wanted to be part of it (they want to expose us, fans, to other music!). Watch below:
Then Dirt TV‘s Renee Peterson exclusively interviewed Chester Bennington and part one is up for us to view, second part will come later today apparently. In this part he talks about how Linkin Park celebrated being number one in the USA and in the UK and then he says Linkin Park didn’t intentionally go back to their roots but it was ‘a natural exercise’ that they felt comfortable with.
